OUR PROGRAMS

All Day Care within the context of the Montessori environment is available for children 15 months through kindergarten. Nutritious snacks and lunches are provided. Care is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Toddler through kindergarten age is seen as critically important times in the life experience of the emerging person.  Attitudes, aptitudes, interests, and perceptions are integrating and forming the person in process, the child.  Our teachers, sensitive to the changing developmental challenges of the young child, facilitate experiences and create opportunities to support emerging abilities, interests and skills.  The young child is on the path of self discovery.

Each classroom is carefully designed to meet the needs of the toddlers, twos, and 3 – 6 year olds they serve. Low tables, chairs and materials within easy reach offer your child every opportunity for independence. The child is invited to explore and discover within our carefully prepared learning environment.   It is our purpose to prepare an environment rich in potential experience, interaction and exploration that will nurture the child’s growth.

Montessori Kindergarten is the culmination of your child’s Montessori preschool experience.  Activities are provided to help your child prepare for the transition to a traditional elementary school experience.

Each child has access to all areas of the Montessori environment.  The child pursues learning in a relaxed atmosphere.  Every child is carefully guided and encouraged to participate in a wide range of experiences.  Feeling secure with the consistency of our program, each child has a special roll within our community of friends.
